Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chucho Benitez took the kick off in the first half of the match. Tim McPheidiran kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the game, Chucho Benitez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aiden McDaniell was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 10 minutes into the match, Chucho Benitez notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Leith United's Aiden McDaniell. Aiden McDaniell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute Bruce Adams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Ekrem Kalgay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chucho Benitez in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aiden McDaniell saved Leith United from getting behind. In the 20th minute Chucho Benitez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aiden McDaniell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aiden McDaniell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chucho Benitez in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 27th minute Johnny Kinnieson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mustafa Ekrem Kalgay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leith United were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after ÇAN SPOR's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Derek Lorne took the corner. In the last second Mustafa Ekrem Kalgay throw himself and got hold of the ball when Bruce Adams in the 28thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Mustafa Ekrem Kalgay made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruce Adams in the 42nd minute of play. Ian McGugan hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in ÇAN SPOR's zone, Johnny Kinnieson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Ekrem Kalgay came out of the goal and Johnny Kinnieson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bruce Adams to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Leith United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian McGugan to maneuver through the defense. ÇAN SPOR's Tolgahan Üçok quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joseph Dyer, made in the 58th minute of the game. After some careless play in the Leith United defense, Chucho Benitez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aiden McDaniell. The Leith United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aiden McDaniell should have stopped the shot. When Berat Afşar fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ÇAN SPOR's protests and gave Berat Afşar a yellow card for diving instead. After 68 played minutes ÇAN SPOR got a freekick which was hit by Berat Afşar. Aiden McDaniell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karol Teofila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Johnny Kinnieson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Karol Teofila made a precise shot to the right of Aiden McDaniell. Leith United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in ÇAN SPOR's zone, Johnny Kinnieson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Ekrem Kalgay came out of the goal and Johnny Kinnieson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Bruce Adams ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mustafa Ekrem Kalgay was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Alparslan Ruhsat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Aiden McDaniell made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in ÇAN SPOR's zone, Bruce Adams stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Ekrem Kalgay came out of the goal and Bruce Adams tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tolgahan Üçok kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. ÇAN SPOR were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Leith United's much stronger midfield.
