Eugeniusz Pracki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Trần Bay having to interfere. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Małomiasteczkowi N-H's goalkeeper Cristinel Costeiantu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Trần Bay stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugeniusz Pracki's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. Małomiasteczkowi N-H's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Maziarz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Trần Bay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
