Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brian Rose made the kick off which started today's match. Santiago Bilintx stood somewhat misplaced when Brian Rose came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 6 minute. Brian Rose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Santiago Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Bilintx didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 13th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. After 15 minutes, Rio Abbotts mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gainsborough FC and the Famaillá AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Rio Abbotts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Spike Holbrook hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 17th minute, Rene Lando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Brian Rose struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Santiago Bilintx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gainsborough FC. In the 25th minute, Brian Rose reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Santiago Bilintx. The goal made the score 3-0. Brian Rose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Famaillá AFC booed when Gainsborough FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tristan Routledge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Freddie Cousens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldomiro Chaime in the 30th minute of play. Freddie Cousens came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Famaillá AFC's Baldomiro Chaime. But to his dismay, Baldomiro Chaime quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. When Jake Trimble fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gainsborough FC's protests and gave Jake Trimble a yellow card for diving instead. Famaillá AFC's Rene Lando couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 39th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Gainsborough FC. In the 41st minute Baldomiro Chaime shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddie Cousens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Maurice Bryant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The wind increased when Baldomiro Chaime made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Famaillá AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Sendoa to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nereo Senon in the 55th minute of play forced Gainsborough FC's goalkeeper Freddie Cousens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Chaime could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Freddie Cousens made a huge save. In the 66th minute, Alex Mortimer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristian Bidari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Freddie Cousens having to interfere. Rio Abbotts kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Baldomiro Chaime received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Freddie Cousens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Bilintx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Rose, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Alberto Piearres kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Brian Rose managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gainsborough FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Rose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Santiago Bilintx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Brian Rose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gainsborough FC's attentive Jamal Beattie managed to snatch the ball when Arsenio Txeru made a throw-in in the 93rd minute of the game. If Phil Ploughman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Rose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
