Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Eralp Sözen kicked off to start the match. Mickey Bramble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cahit Şahan in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Joynes in the 7th minute of play forced Vyne sk's goalkeeper İlyas Çınar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th of the match, Nat Connor tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but İlyas Çınar got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fowey FC's goalkeeper Mickey Bramble, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cahit Şahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Mickey Bramble tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck İlyas Çınar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

David Beckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Vyne sk's Müslüm Zeyni got a free kick in the 55th minute. Cahit Şahan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Tekin Alyakut's late challenge caught a Fowey FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tekin Alyakut helped the player get up and apologised. İlyas Çınar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nat Connor, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Nicholas Joynes struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. İlyas Çınar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fowey FC. İlyas Çınar came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Fowey FC's Nicholas Joynes. But to his dismay, Nicholas Joynes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ron Stonehouse during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Fowey FC's Ron Stonehouse got a free kick in the 76th minute. After having played for 85 minutes, David Beckett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fowey FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but David Beckett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Nat Connor fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fowey FC's protests and gave Nat Connor a yellow card for diving instead. Deon Rice hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Nicholas Joynes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fowey FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicholas Joynes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İlyas Çınar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
