In the 4th minute, Baldomiro Chaime left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Famaillá AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. If Cristian Bidari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, San lorenzo de Santa fe's Cecilio Aurre got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 8th minute, Cristian Bidari ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some careless play in the Famaillá AFC defense, Geronimo Cordarryl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santiago Bilintx. The Famaillá AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santiago Bilintx should have stopped the shot. San lorenzo de Santa fe's Juan Franco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save San lorenzo de Santa fe from getting a goal against them. 21 minutes into the match, San lorenzo de Santa fe's goalkeeper Juan Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Bidari. After some careless play in the San lorenzo de Santa fe defense, Cristian Bidari kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Juan Franco. The San lorenzo de Santa fe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Juan Franco should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Famaillá AFC's zone, Bartolo Orixe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Santiago Bilintx came out of the goal and Bartolo Orixe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cristian Bidari received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan Franco came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Bidari slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 31st minute. 35 minutes into the match, Cristian Bidari notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of San lorenzo de Santa fe's Juan Franco. Juan Franco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Baldomiro Chaime received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Juan Franco came out and tried to block the shot, but Baldomiro Chaime slotted it home off the left post making it 6-1 in the 39th minute. In the 43rd minute, Nereo Senon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Juan Franco was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-1. In the 45th minute, Cristian Bidari made a precise shot to the right of Juan Franco. San lorenzo de Santa fe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 8-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Geronimo Cordarryl to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Cristian Bidari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-1. Juan Franco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Juan Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for San lorenzo de Santa fe. Cecilio Aurre stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Santiago Bilintx. 9-2. Cosme Sedeni kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gavino Boniel during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Baldomiro Chaime recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Nereo Senon notched a goal, 10-2, to the right of San lorenzo de Santa fe's Juan Franco. Juan Franco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 72nd minute, Nereo Senon made a precise shot to the right of Juan Franco. San lorenzo de Santa fe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-2. Virgilio Nabar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Bilintx having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, San lorenzo de Santa fe's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Chaime came free, but Juan Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Franco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Piearres, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Juan Franco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Senon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Santiago Bilintx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geronimo Cordarryl in the 95th minute of play. When Nereo Senon fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Famaillá AFC's protests and gave Nereo Senon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute, Nereo Senon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
