Tekin Alyakut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toby Topham having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eralp Sözen in the 21st minute of play forced K.S.V Waregem's goalkeeper Toby Topham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İlyas Çınar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Huey Hughes in the 26th minute of the match. Crispin Hepburn charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. İlyas Çınar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. If Adrian Claydon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 88 minutes into the game, when Ahmet Emir Nasreddin put in a rough tackle. It was beautiful to see K.S.V Waregem's Crispin Hepburn in action when he in the 90th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! İlyas Çınar didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Huey Hughes went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. In the 95th minute, Cahit Şahan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. K.S.V Waregem had won after a very even match.
