The audience was convinced that Nicholas Joynes's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 江岚霖 was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in 风卷残云's zone, Nicholas Joynes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 江岚霖 came out of the goal and Nicholas Joynes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nicholas Joynes charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicholas Joynes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 21 minutes into the match, Nicholas Joynes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 江岚霖, 1-0. After 27 played minutes 风卷残云 got a freekick which was hit by 于升超. David Beckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mickey Bramble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 宋树寒 in the 32nd minute of play. If Nat Connor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 江岚霖 was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Nicholas Joynes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Nicholas Joynes really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 陶彬钢 in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickey Bramble prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 minutes Fowey FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 温志康 who took care of the corner kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 宋树寒 during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute, 宋树寒 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calvin Beckett struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. 江岚霖 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fowey FC. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 温志康 to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicholas Joynes in the 66th minute of play forced 风卷残云's goalkeeper 江岚霖 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 于升超 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Mickey Bramble made a huge save. 温志康 charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 温志康 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to 风卷残云 getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. 温志康 hit a great ball. 74 minutes into the match, 风卷残云's goal looked a bit too open when David Beckett came free, but 江岚霖 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mickey Bramble made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 温志康 in the 76th minute of play. 范正扬 made in the 78th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which 于升超 however managed to control. In the 79th minute, 于升超 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Nicholas Joynes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. 江岚霖 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Joynes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when 于升超 got free with Mickey Bramble in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, 风卷残云's 温志康 got a free kick in the 90th minute. Fowey FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
