In the 4th match minute, San lorenzo de Santa fe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Cordarryl to maneuver through the defense. Juan Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Joynes in the 6th minute of the match. Nat Connor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Juan Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Deon Rice came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Fowey FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Deon Rice couldn't finish the play. Juan Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicholas Joynes in the 16th minute of the match. After 18 played minutes San lorenzo de Santa fe got a freekick which was hit by Bartolo Orixe. After a defensive mix-up in San lorenzo de Santa fe's zone, Nicholas Joynes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Franco came out of the goal and Nicholas Joynes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 25 minutes into the match, San lorenzo de Santa fe's goal looked a bit too open when Danny Allott came free, but Juan Franco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Franco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicholas Joynes went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Juan Franco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nat Connor in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th minute Nicholas Joynes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 40 minutes of play, Fowey FC's Nicholas Joynes made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Juan Franco was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fowey FC's Deon Rice suffered a sore foot after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 44 minutes, Virgilio Nabar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the San lorenzo de Santa fe and the Fowey FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Fowey FC made a substitution. Kenny Lawson replaced Deon Rice. Virgilio Nabar kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. After 48 played minutes San lorenzo de Santa fe got a freekick which was hit by Cosme Sedeni. The San lorenzo de Santa fe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fowey FC were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Geronimo Cordarryl to make the kick off. After 57 played minutes Fowey FC got a freekick which was hit by Daryl Sissons. If Nicholas Joynes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the game, Jamie Berryman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fowey FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San lorenzo de Santa fe the free kick. A collision led to Fowey FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Jamie Berryman hit a great ball. Mickey Bramble showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bartolo Orixe, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Juan Franco made an important save on a dangerous shot by Danny Allott in the 71st minute. Guillermo Gonsalve charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Gonsalve the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, San lorenzo de Santa fe's Guillermo Gonsalve got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 79 played minutes San lorenzo de Santa fe got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Nabar. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Juan Franco successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 89th minute Guillermo Gonsalve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickey Bramble saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fowey FC's Nicholas Joynes got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 94 minutes, Nicholas Joynes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fowey FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicholas Joynes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute, Geronimo Cordarryl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mickey Bramble was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. When the final whistle sounded Fowey FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than San lorenzo de Santa fe.
