Santiago Bilintx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fowey FC. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Baldomiro Chaime made the kick off in the second half. If Nicholas Joynes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. Santiago Bilintx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicholas Joynes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Bilintx having to interfere. When Nicholas Joynes came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Fowey FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicholas Joynes couldn't finish the play. Fowey FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Famaillá AFC to leave the ground with a draw.
