In the 8th minute Cakra Nyakmad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dacian Nițescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Don Cabezon ran back to his position shaking his head. Haji Sarap made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Don Cabezon sent off a good shot on target. Don Cabezon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Haji Sarap came out and tried to block the shot, but Don Cabezon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 29th minute. AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cakra Nyakmad in the 43rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cakra Nyakmad to strike the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Cakra Nyakmad kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Dacian Nițescu. That made the score 1-2 in the 51 minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Cakra Nyakmad notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of AL TAQWA VILLAGE FC's Dacian Nițescu. Dacian Nițescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dacian Nițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sugih Linggawarman, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Riswan Sanusi took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Haji Sarap. Haji Sarap dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. If Sugih Linggawarman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Riswan Sanusi in the 94th minute of play forced Indonesia's goalkeeper Haji Sarap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Indonesia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
