Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Quim Barreiros started the match with the kick off. When Pablo Vegetti came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pablo Vegetti couldn't finish the play. Pablo Vegetti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Setúbal having to interfere. Pablo Vegetti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Almiro Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, U21 Portugal's Almiro Setúbal got control of the ball when Ulisses Duarte tried to sneak it across the goal line. Golo Duarte scored 1-0 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Almiro Setúbal, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olavo Eiró in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Duarte saved CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land from getting behind. Ulisses Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Almiro Setúbal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. U21 Portugal's Almiro Setúbal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save U21 Portugal from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pablo Vegetti was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, U21 Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Pablo Vegetti came free, but Almiro Setúbal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Golo Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Almiro Setúbal was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land's Gar Galo got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 65 minutes into the game, one of CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land:s Duarte Duarte showed great skill when he stopped Olavo Eiró:s penalty. Almiro Setúbal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Almiro Setúbal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo Vegetti in the 71st minute of the match. U21 Portugal's Ronaldo Pinheiro was substituted for Quim Barreiros. U21 Portugal's Ronaldo Nunes was substituted for Olavo Eiró. U21 Portugal's Norberto Henriques was substituted for Germano Saraiva. After 76 played minutes U21 Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Quim Barreiros. Aquiles Duarte took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Almiro Setúbal. Almiro Setúbal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind U21 Portugal's goalkeeper Almiro Setúbal, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 92nd minute of the match, Ronaldo Pinheiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Duarte Duarte saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. U21 Portugal's Ronaldo Nunes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Paulo Velasques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. CASTROMIL FC -Golden Land had played much better football throughout.
