In the 13th minute of the match Poland got a corner. KARAORMAN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Harry Maguire ran over to the corner to take the kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Konstanty Janiczek in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iona Lightfoot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Silban in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Kieca saved Poland from getting behind. Karim Benzema could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Daniel Kieca made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Konstanty Janiczek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iona Lightfoot was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Konstanty Janiczek came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Poland fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Konstanty Janiczek couldn't finish the play. Iona Lightfoot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konstanty Janiczek, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After 41 played minutes Poland got a freekick which was hit by Izydor Plucinik. Poland's Iwan Kasiewski was substituted for Slawomir Wielopolski. In the 42nd minute, Izydor Plucinik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Kala Mala fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Poland's protests and gave Kala Mala a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KARAORMAN booed when Poland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kala Mala didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Karim Benzema to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iwan Kasiewski got free with Iona Lightfoot in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 54th minute Poland were awarded a corner. Harry Maguire went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of KARAORMAN's goalie and right to Iwan Kasiewski. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. KARAORMAN's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 56th minute, Herbert Grom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poland fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. 72 minutes into the match, Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Karim Benzema came free, but Daniel Kieca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Herbert Grom's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Iona Lightfoot was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Daniel Kieca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Misael in the 81st minute of play. Iona Lightfoot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kala Mala in the 82nd minute. Poland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witomir Jestrimski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Herbert Wincek charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herbert Wincek the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Herbert Wincek hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Daniel Kieca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karim Benzema in the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over Poland could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than KARAORMAN throughout the match.
