Bancruz F.C's Nunez Tano was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Damián Martínez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ciro Nerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hermengildo Dalmau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Dalmau in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Börge Larsson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tottenham Hotspurs and the Bancruz F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ciro Nerio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hermengildo Dalmau in the 30th minute of the match. Tottenham Hotspurs's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Belmiro da Fonseca in the 33rd minute. Bancruz F.C's Ciro Nerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anfilogino Palma in the 36th minute of play. 37 minutes in the game, Anfilogino Palma dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Turgay Hafi in the 38th minute of play forced Tottenham Hotspurs's goalkeeper Damián Martínez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Bancruz F.C's Turgay Hafi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Damián Martínez. Damián Martínez yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Anfilogino Palma kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Tottenham Hotspurs's Anfilogino Palma got a free kick in the 49th minute. Victoriano Lia charged in rather forcefully in the 50th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victoriano Lia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 50th match minute, Tottenham Hotspurs was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victoriano Lia to maneuver through the defense. Tottenham Hotspurs's Damián Martínez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Tottenham Hotspurs from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anfilogino Palma to make the kick off. Anfilogino Palma might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ciro Nerio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Anfilogino Palma ran back to his position shaking his head. Ciro Nerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anfilogino Palma in the 58th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Palma in the 69th minute of play forced Bancruz F.C's goalkeeper Ciro Nerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Nerio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anfilogino Palma, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anfilogino Palma in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Nerio saved Bancruz F.C from getting behind. Turgay Hafi scored 2-0 in the 88th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Damián Martínez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Bancruz F.C's Andro Konsap was substituted for Carlos Borghi. Bancruz F.C made a substitution. Çelikan Koçaş replaced Turgay Hafi. The throw-in from Robustiano Beat in the 96th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Bancruz F.C's Alfonso Tauro. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çelikan Koçaş in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damián Martínez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 97 minutes, Çelikan Koçaş put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Damián Martínez. Tottenham Hotspurs's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
