In the 15th minute, Romulo Fagondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiki FC's Yiyo Navaes got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Yiyo Navaes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabio Faro. That made the score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. A collision led to Tiki FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Roris Luciano hit a great ball. Ferrer Urtiaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Liher, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Diego Armando FC's Placido Sandalio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ferrer Urtiaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Fabio Faro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Espínola Jaramillo's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. Jeremias Mitxaut kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Tiki FC's Ferrer Urtiaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Celedonio Vermudo in the 38th minute of play. Ferrer Urtiaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Mitxaut in the 40th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Liher in the 43rd minute of play forced Tiki FC's goalkeeper Ferrer Urtiaga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Tiki FC defense, Celedonio Vermudo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ferrer Urtiaga. The Tiki FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ferrer Urtiaga should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Placido Sandalio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ferrer Urtiaga made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Domingos Liher took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Ferrer Urtiaga to make any attempt to save it. Fabio Faro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yiyo Navaes in the 59th minute of the match. In the 68thth minute of the game Espínola Jaramillo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Diego Armando FC's Fabio Faro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Espínola Jaramillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabio Faro. Diego Armando FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Espínola Jaramillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-5. After a rather tough play, Diego Armando FC's Maximiliano Cerilo got a free kick in the 79th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Manzano during the 85th minute.
