In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hermann Hesse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olivier Gilg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 8th minute of the game Wilton do Valle made a throw-in which Christian Carrier played forward. A sloppy throw-in by Cleto Trasagua in the 10th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Pars Yorgun. Hermann Hesse came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg. But to his dismay, Olivier Gilg quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 20th match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Niculae Martinescu to maneuver through the defense. Bartolo Basualdo took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Donato. Chico Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 28 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolo Basualdo came free, but Chico Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Bartolo Basualdo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Chico Donato made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Bartolo Basualdo struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Chico Donato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Popolizio FBC. After some careless play in the DIPLOMATA FC PAB defense, Bartolo Basualdo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Chico Donato. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Chico Donato should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Bartolo Basualdo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when Olivier Gilg made the kick off in the second half. Chico Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolo Basualdo in the 62nd minute. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Erruki Velarroa was substituted for Bartolo Basualdo. Chico Donato was a little too slow when Erruki Velarroa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 78th minute Joao Montanez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olivier Gilg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hermann Hesse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roberto Lopes in the 81st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Roberto Lopes in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hermann Hesse saved Deportivo Popolizio FBC from getting behind. When Roberto Lopes came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the DIPLOMATA FC PAB fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Lopes couldn't finish the play. With an all-out effort, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Chico Donato threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joao Montanez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 90th minute Deportivo Popolizio FBC were awarded a corner. Edward Kaczor went to the cornerflag to take it. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Edward Kaczor was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Chico Donato in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 91st match minute, DIPLOMATA FC PAB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer Alvarenga to maneuver through the defense. Edward Kaczor struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Chico Donato didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Popolizio FBC. If Tibor Nyilasi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
