After a defensive mix-up in Alicante FC's zone, 李渊政 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julián Aballe came out of the goal and 李渊政 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julián Aballe came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by 江苏连云港异军俱乐部队's 孙扬奕. But to his dismay, 孙扬奕 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 16th play minutes Enol Soto shot 1-1, a short shot which went by 齐笑杰 and just under the crossbar into goal. If Enol Soto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 齐笑杰 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Enol Soto went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. If Kiko Castelao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kiko Castelao recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Kiko Castelao had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 齐笑杰. 江苏连云港异军俱乐部队's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kiko Castelao was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Enol Soto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alicante FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Enol Soto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 齐笑杰 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 齐笑杰 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Saez in the 40th minute of play. If Kiko Castelao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The supporters of Alicante FC booed when 江苏连云港异军俱乐部队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. 林飞傲 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 68th minute, Enol Soto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julián Aballe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 林飞傲 in the 75th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, 江苏连云港异军俱乐部队's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Kiko Castelao fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 董军景's late challenge caught a Alicante FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain.
