Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Salvador Endira made the kick off which started today's match. Faustino Perpinya took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Montenegro. Hugo Montenegro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hugo Montenegro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Endira in the 6th minute. A collision led to Antiguyo getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. German Macerio hit a great ball. Hugo Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Endira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Laerte Nóbrega kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the game, Giru EC's Alexandre Varela nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Urbano Indar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 19 minutes, Laerte Nóbrega mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Giru EC and the Antiguyo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Antiguyo's Honorio Phelipe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 20th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hugo Montenegro but with some difficulty. Hugo Montenegro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Salvador Endira showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 21 minute of play. Urbano Indar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolas Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Hugo Montenegro was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and German Macerio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. German Macerio really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. In the 29th minute, Faustino Perpinya hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Giru EC booed when Antiguyo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Macerio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Salvador Endira in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Montenegro saved Giru EC from getting behind. Urbano Indar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Nóbrega in the 40th minute of the match. Hugo Montenegro was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but German Macerio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 43 minute of play. 47 minutes into the game, Antiguyo's Hernan Rafe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-2.
The wind increased when Hamílton Couto made the kick off in the second half. Giru EC's Hugo Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Macerio in the 52nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hernan Rafe in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hugo Montenegro saved Giru EC from getting behind. Urbano Indar was a little too slow when Alexandre Varela got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 63rd minute. The score was now 5-4. Hugo Montenegro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernan Rafe in the 68th minute of play. Alexandre Varela in the 77thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Urbano Indar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 80 minutes into the game, Antiguyo's Salvador Endira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hugo Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-5. In the 82nd minute, Nicolas Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Endira took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Montenegro. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Laerte Nóbrega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Giru EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laerte Nóbrega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Urbano Indar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Antiguyo were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Giru EC for a fine match.
