Urbano Indar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Pombal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Antiguyo's German Macerio got a free kick in the 6th minute. Faustino Perpinya charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustino Perpinya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Faustino Perpinya hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Tomé Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oudri Kanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 18 minutes of play, Oudri Kanda's Tomé Pombal made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Urbano Indar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Antiguyo's Salvador Endira in the 21st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Moisés Carioca was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Oudri Kanda through an amazing save. After having played for 22 minutes, Tomé Pombal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oudri Kanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomé Pombal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Paulo Nunes struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Urbano Indar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oudri Kanda. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Hernan Rafe took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Moisés Carioca to make any attempt to save it. 31 minutes into the match, Oudri Kanda's João Paulo Nunes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Urbano Indar narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Urbano Indar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Paulo Nunes in the 41st minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Salvador Endira was the one to do the kick off. Salvador Endira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Moisés Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
