Brea's Angelo Bordat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Brea from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute Patricio Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Galoer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Herminio Veremundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After 26 played minutes LaAlpina FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Hodei. When Ruben Tercero fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Brea's protests and gave Ruben Tercero a yellow card for diving instead. Cleto Bonifaco kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Angelo Bordat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Ugutz in the 43rd minute of play. Federico Galoer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Jerardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Herminio Veremundo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Galoer. Federico Galoer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Ugutz was the one to do the kick off. Elias Erroman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelo Bordat having to interfere. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelo Bordat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Erroman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Brea defense, Elias Erroman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Angelo Bordat. The Brea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Angelo Bordat should have stopped the shot. Carmelo Ugutz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
