With a left leg Dalmacio Maura saved Heavy FC from getting behind. 12 minutes into the game, González Codony was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tiki FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heavy FC the free kick. González Codony hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Everardo Servando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferrer Urtiaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmacio Maura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Espínola Jaramillo's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. In the 31st minute, Méndez Cañellas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tiki FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When Everardo Servando fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heavy FC's protests and gave Everardo Servando a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Heavy FC got a freekick which was hit by Everardo Servando. The audience was convinced that Espínola Jaramillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dalmacio Maura was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Méndez Cañellas's late challenge caught a Heavy FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Méndez Cañellas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th minute, Méndez Cañellas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiki FC's Ferrer Urtiaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Servando in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

Tiki FC's Espínola Jaramillo was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 55th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Everardo Servando struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Ferrer Urtiaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heavy FC. In the 59th match minute, Heavy FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Everardo Servando to maneuver through the defense.
