After a rather tough play, Giru EC's Chiquinho de Queirós got a free kick in the 8th minute. Hugo Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Moises Palos, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Elias Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Federico Galoer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Couto in the 17th minute of the match. Giru EC's Hugo Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Ugutz in the 18th minute of play. Laerte Nóbrega could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Federico Galoer made a huge save. In the 23rd minute, Carmelo Ugutz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. LaAlpina FC's Federico Galoer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamílton Couto in the 27th minute of play. Carmelo Ugutz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Hamílton Couto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Federico Galoer having to make a save. In the 32nd minute of the match, Nicolas Fonseca tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Federico Galoer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th minute of the match, Hamílton Couto tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Federico Galoer saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Palos in the 38th minute of play forced Giru EC's goalkeeper Hugo Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 39 minutes, Isidoro Bautista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the LaAlpina FC and the Giru EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to LaAlpina FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Isidoro Bautista hit a great ball. Nicolas Fonseca hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Carmelo Ugutz hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Federico Galoer came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Giru EC's Alexandre Varela. But to his dismay, Alexandre Varela quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Carmelo Ugutz was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Hamílton Couto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Federico Galoer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, LaAlpina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Berart to maneuver through the defense. Washington Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With a little luck, Giru EC's Hugo Montenegro got control of the ball when Moises Palos tried to sneak it across the goal line. Federico Galoer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Laerte Nóbrega went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 62nd minute of the game. One of LaAlpina FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Giru EC:s goal. LaAlpina FC:s Federico Galoer showed great skill when he stopped Hamílton Couto:s penalty. Federico Galoer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexandre Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laerte Nóbrega in the 73rd minute of play forced LaAlpina FC's goalkeeper Federico Galoer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. LaAlpina FC's Federico Galoer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laerte Nóbrega in the 75th minute of play. With a little luck, Giru EC's Hugo Montenegro got control of the ball when Moises Palos tried to sneak it across the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Giru EC reached it. 82 minutes into the match, Alexandre Varela had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Federico Galoer. LaAlpina FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alexandre Varela was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 88th match minute, LaAlpina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Pancho to maneuver through the defense. Hamílton Couto kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Federico Galoer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laerte Nóbrega in the 92nd minute of play. After some careless play in the LaAlpina FC defense, Hamílton Couto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Galoer. The LaAlpina FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Galoer should have stopped the shot. When the referee ended the match the Giru EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
