A collision led to Alicante FC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Mustafá Carceles hit a great ball. Yaroslav Ostankin kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Korolev's Yaroslav Ostankin got a free kick in the 22nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kiko Castelao in the 23rd minute of play forced Korolev's goalkeeper Yuriy Podkopalov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kiko Castelao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Yuriy Podkopalov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julián Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilya Tolbuhin in the 32nd minute of play. Julián Aballe made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Artur Chervitskiy sent off a good shot on target. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Enol Soto put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Yuriy Podkopalov. Julián Aballe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arseniy Baibakov in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Kiko Castelao made the kick off in the second half. Yuriy Podkopalov was out of position in the 52 minute of play, and Kiko Castelao capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kiko Castelao really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Korolev's Yuriy Podkopalov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Korolev from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute Artur Chervitskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julián Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enol Soto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Yuriy Podkopalov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enol Soto struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Yuriy Podkopalov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alicante FC. Stanislav Getmanov made in the 73rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Alicante FC's Mustafá Carceles. Kiko Castelao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuriy Podkopalov having to interfere. Alicante FC's Julián Aballe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ilya Tolbuhin in the 83rd minute of play. After 84 played minutes Korolev got a freekick which was hit by Stanislav Getmanov. Enol Soto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuriy Podkopalov having to interfere. 89 minutes into the game, Arseniy Baibakov was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Korolev's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alicante FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Korolev's Arseniy Baibakov got a free kick in the 89th minute.
