The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mané Carceles the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Uruguay F.C protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mané Carceles had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Uruguay F.C's Aloisio Leon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pastor Naelio in the 43rd minute of play.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pastor Naelio was the one to do the kick off. Angelo Bordat was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. When Doroteo Taules came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Uruguay F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doroteo Taules couldn't finish the play. Marcos Doblas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Angelo Bordat made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicasio Sasoin during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Bermudo Reyes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
