With a little luck, Polzeath's John-Paul Nevin got control of the ball when Artur Chervitskiy tried to sneak it across the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Polzeath fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Korolev getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Arseniy Baibakov hit a great ball. Yuriy Podkopalov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darius Bell went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 21 played minutes, Polzeath's Steve Stamer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yuriy Podkopalov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Polzeath reached it. A collision led to Korolev getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Konstantin Evseev hit a great ball. Korolev's Yuriy Podkopalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Darius Bell in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 28 minutes, Darius Bell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polzeath's supporters crossed their fingers, but Darius Bell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yuriy Podkopalov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Richard Rogers went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Yuriy Podkopalov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franz Scargill in the 36th minute of play. In the 41stth minute of the game Richard Rogers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Korolev's Yuriy Podkopalov was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conan Hogg kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

Korolev's Yuriy Podkopalov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Rogers in the 52nd minute of play. Ilya Tolbuhin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Polzeath's Richard Rogers slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Yuriy Podkopalov. That made the score 0-3 after 58 minutes of play. Richard Rogers struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Yuriy Podkopalov didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Polzeath. Darius Bell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuriy Podkopalov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. A hard shot by Steve Stamer from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Yuriy Podkopalov's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Darius Bell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Yuriy Podkopalov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Steve Stamer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yuriy Podkopalov didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darius Bell went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. A collision led to Polzeath getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jeff Bateman hit a great ball. 86 minutes into the match, Polzeath's goal looked a bit too open when Ilya Tolbuhin came free, but John-Paul Nevin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Artur Chervitskiy came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Korolev fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artur Chervitskiy couldn't finish the play. Saveliy Volkov's late challenge caught a Polzeath's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Saveliy Volkov helped the player get up and apologised. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, Polzeath's Steve Stamer got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Yuriy Podkopalov. Korolev's Yuriy Podkopalov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Korolev from getting a goal against them.
