In the 8thth minute of the game Witold Bycofski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of U21 Poland booed when Abandon All Hope was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ye Hong didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tanek Wojtyna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michal Arendarski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Meng Yan Jing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Witold Bycofski, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Witold Bycofski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Meng Yan Jing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Witold Bycofski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meng Yan Jing having to make a save. Meng Yan Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Bycofski in the 25th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Bycofski in the 30th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witold Bycofski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Meng Yan Jing showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Witold Bycofski in the 32nd minute of the match. A collision led to U21 Poland getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Zdzislaw Rydzewski hit a great ball. Dedê de Castro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tanek Wojtyna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Witold Bycofski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Meng Yan Jing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Abandon All Hope booed when U21 Poland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamilo Glik didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half U21 Poland were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Witold Bycofski was the one to do the kick off. In the 50th match minute, U21 Poland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rusi Moskal to maneuver through the defense. In the 52ndth minute of the game Witold Bycofski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Abandon All Hope's Meng Yan Jing was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Meng Yan Jing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Witold Bycofski in the 55th minute of play. Witold Bycofski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Meng Yan Jing having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rusi Moskal in the 60th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, one of Abandon All Hope:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Witold Bycofski sped through Abandon All Hope's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Meng Yan Jing. Meng Yan Jing made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rusi Moskal in the 71st minute. A collision led to U21 Poland getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Rusi Moskal hit a great ball. 82 minutes into the match, U21 Poland's Witold Bycofski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meng Yan Jing narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Artur Marajda's late challenge caught a U21 Poland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Marajda helped the player get up and apologised. Artur Marajda kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Meng Yan Jing made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Witold Bycofski sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Bycofski in the 92nd minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Meng Yan Jing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Witold Bycofski struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Meng Yan Jing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for U21 Poland.
