Baltazar Luz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Rodger Chu took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Patrick Armstrong to make any attempt to save it. 10 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rufino Rengifo. The goalkeeper, Patrick Armstrong, was totally fooled by Renascença A.C.'s Rufino Rengifo, who 11 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. From close distance Rufino Rengifo pressed in the 3-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 16 minutes into the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciriaco George in the 21st minute of play forced ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrian Våleman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Renascença A.C.'s Cristóvão Leite got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the ManagerZone Crew defense, Rodger Chu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Patrick Armstrong. The ManagerZone Crew fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Patrick Armstrong should have stopped the shot. 37 minutes into the match, ManagerZone Crew's goalkeeper Patrick Armstrong had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rufino Rengifo. After a defensive mix-up in Renascença A.C.'s zone, Thorbjörn Olerius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltazar Luz came out of the goal and Thorbjörn Olerius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 48 minutes into the match, Robert Ununger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Baltazar Luz. Renascença A.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Robert Ununger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1.

The wind increased when Rufino Rengifo made the kick off in the second half. Peter Linkhorst blasted a shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Baltazar Luz having to make a save. In the 68th minute of the match, Peter Linkhorst tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Baltazar Luz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Patrick Armstrong made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Hazard in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to Renascença A.C. getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Alfredão Silva hit a great ball. After 87 minutes of play, ManagerZone Crew's Peter Linkhorst made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltazar Luz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Adrian Våleman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Renascença A.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
