Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 5 minutes into the match, Cristiano Rolando notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Faustino Horado. Faustino Horado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Timoteo Poncio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teodoro Salomon's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ defense, Claudio Echeverri kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustino Horado. The ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustino Horado should have stopped the shot. Real Espartillar made a substitution. Aurelio Distiratsu replaced Roberto Galati. Timoteo Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Salomon, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to Real Espartillar getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Santo Lugo hit a great ball. Lucas Quilo kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goalkeeper Faustino Horado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudio Echeverri. 31 minutes into the match, Real Espartillar's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Guipuzkoa came free, but Timoteo Poncio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Orlando Guipuzkoa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Timoteo Poncio having to make a save. After 37 minutes of play, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Orlando Guipuzkoa made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Timoteo Poncio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Timoteo Poncio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teodoro Salomon in the 42nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Gaspar Chuse got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Aurelio Distiratsu made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Real Espartillar booed when ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romulo Gabrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 55 minutes into the match, Cristiano Rolando notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Faustino Horado. Faustino Horado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 60 played minutes Real Espartillar got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Distiratsu. With an all-out effort, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Timoteo Poncio threw himself towards the right post 66 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Teodoro Salomon, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 71 minutes into the match, Teodoro Salomon dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Timoteo Poncio, 3-2. Real Espartillar's Timoteo Poncio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Confesor in the 74th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Orlando Guipuzkoa got free with Timoteo Poncio in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Echeverri in the 83rd minute of play forced ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's goalkeeper Faustino Horado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's Romulo Gabrio got a free kick in the 85th minute. Timoteo Poncio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Guipuzkoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 87 minutes, the score became 3-3 when Teodoro Salomon sped through Real Espartillar's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Timoteo Poncio. Timoteo Poncio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodoro Salomon, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in ᴄʟᴜʙ ᴀᴛʟᴇᴛɪᴄᴏ ᴛᴜᴄᴜᴍᴀɴ's zone, Cristiano Rolando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Faustino Horado came out of the goal and Cristiano Rolando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
