The referee ignored Patagonicos FC's protests and gave Geronimo Emmanuel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Geronimo Emmanuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Sidoro didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Engenheiros da Vila's Léo Fernandes shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Patagonicos FC's Zeledon Sidoro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Patagonicos FC from getting a goal against them. Zeledon Sidoro made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Léo Fernandes sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 32 minutes, Léo Fernandes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Engenheiros da Vila's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léo Fernandes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Engenheiros da Vila's Jonas Cearense slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeledon Sidoro. That made the score 2-0 after 33 minutes of play. Carlos Sá struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Zeledon Sidoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Engenheiros da Vila. 40 minutes into the match, Pastor Abechuco notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Engenheiros da Vila's Ademir Amorim. Ademir Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A hard shot 44 in the game by Léo Fernandes from a close distance when the talented Zeledon Sidoro managed to make a qualified save. Patagonicos FC's players were relieved. In the 45th minute, Léo Fernandes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeledon Sidoro was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Léo Fernandes to make the kick off. Léo Fernandes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Zeledon Sidoro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vitório Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeledon Sidoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raúl Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Jonas Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute, Jaime Salgado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A very good chance for a goal. 89 minutes into the match, Engenheiros da Vila's goal looked a bit too open when Pastor Abechuco came free, but Ademir Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Léo Fernandes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeledon Sidoro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes of play Patagonicos FC's Geronimo Emmanuel was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 95 played minutes Patagonicos FC got a freekick which was hit by Geronimo Emmanuel.
