Benicio Perfecto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulises Bastian having to interfere. Ulises Bastian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Blai in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filomeno Firme in the 33rd minute of play forced Defensores del Tiki Tiki's goalkeeper Fernan Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benicio Blai in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ulises Bastian saved AZURDUY F.C. from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Defensores del Tiki Tiki made a substitution. Eliseo Elija replaced Aquilino Raitin. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benicio Blai to strike the kick off in the second half. AZURDUY F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensores del Tiki Tiki the free kick. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ulises Bastian showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Teodoro Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ulises Bastian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benicio Perfecto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
