The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Porteño Prowess FC's Damián Egø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Monteiro in the 8th minute of play. After 21 minutes of play, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Diguinho Velasco made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damián Egø was left in no man's land by his defense there! Zuberoa Armona scored 1-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Teodoro Bezerra, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Porteño Prowess FC's Damián Egø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Monteiro in the 35th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardinho Monteiro in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damián Egø prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Willian Guerra made a kick off. After 56 played minutes Shark FC - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Magno Linhares. In the 60th minute, Zuberoa Armona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 62 minutes into the game, Shark FC - FSCMZ's Magno Linhares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damián Egø made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Thanks to some nice moves Ricardinho Monteiro could shoot a difficult shot in the 74th minute, which Damián Egø however easily saved by the left post. The audience was convinced that Willian Guerra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damián Egø was relentless in the 75th minute of the game. Edinho Simões hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. When Zeruko Sardaneta fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Porteño Prowess FC's protests and gave Zeruko Sardaneta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th match minute, Porteño Prowess FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeruko Sardaneta to maneuver through the defense. 88 minutes into the match, Diguinho Velasco notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Porteño Prowess FC's Damián Egø. Damián Egø was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Jorginho Salles took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Damián Egø to make any attempt to save it. The Shark FC - FSCMZ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Shark FC - FSCMZ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
