After a defensive mix-up in MKS Legion Częstochowa's zone, Leroy Parkinson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paco Dean came out of the goal and Leroy Parkinson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 14 minutes into the game, Gustaw Trojanowski was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. MKS Legion Częstochowa's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spartan FC Mogilany the free kick. In the 15th minute of the match Leroy Parkinson sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paco Dean skillfully saved the ball. Czeslaw Kostrzewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Czeslaw Banan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iwo Domarecki having to interfere. 20 minutes into the match, Spartan FC Mogilany's goal looked a bit too open when Valter Festas came free, but Iwo Domarecki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Valter Festas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Paco Dean got control of the ball when Octavian Nicolescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Vsevolod Mischenko came free, but Paco Dean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Czeslaw Kostrzewski kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Paco Dean made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vsevolod Mischenko in the 32nd minute. Liam Hähners short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Paco Dean to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 35th minute of the match, Liam Hähner got a very nice opportunity to score, but Paco Dean was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Liam Hähner in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paco Dean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 41 minutes into the game, Liam Hähner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Paco Dean was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Liam Hähner in the 44thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paco Dean, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

MKS Legion Częstochowa's Paco Dean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octavian Nicolescu in the 52nd minute of play. Paco Dean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liam Hähner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wojciech Skaradowski struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Paco Dean didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Spartan FC Mogilany. Paco Dean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wojciech Skaradowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Krzysztof Jajecznica got a free kick in the 60th minute. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Pawel Niezywy was substituted for Kajetan Pietrowiak. The supporters of Spartan FC Mogilany booed when MKS Legion Częstochowa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Krzysztof Jajecznica didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 61 minutes, Leroy Parkinson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Spartan FC Mogilany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leroy Parkinson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of MKS Legion Częstochowa booed when Spartan FC Mogilany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sever Ulici didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Liam Hähner shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Dean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 73 minutes MKS Legion Częstochowa's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Leroy Parkinson who took care of the corner kick. Liam Hähner took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Paco Dean. Paco Dean dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Spartan FC Mogilany's Tomasz Gorzkiewicz was substituted for Leroy Parkinson. In the 84th minute of the game Valter Festas made a throw-in which Czeslaw Banan played forward. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spartan FC Mogilany's goalkeeper Iwo Domarecki, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to MKS Legion Częstochowa getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gustaw Trojanowski hit a great ball. In the 88th minute Konstanty Smolarek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paco Dean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paco Dean showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vsevolod Mischenko, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
