In the 14th minute Christian Burgo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jarbas Quadros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Kwyjibo's Fabricio Perli got a free kick in the 15th minute. Sylwester Wawro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferenc Puskás in the 16th minute of play. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Lin Yuan with Ferenc Puskás as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Jarbas Quadros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Christian Burgo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Ferenc Puskás might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sylwester Wawro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kwyjibo's Etxepare Angostina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lorenz Carabia, made in the 46th minute of the game. When Mathias Jakobsson came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Kwyjibo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mathias Jakobsson couldn't finish the play. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
