Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Chocholatý prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Martin Chocholatý played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris in the 20th minute of play. After 22 minutes FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Kleon Liaskovitis who took care of the corner kick. Renos Karaflas hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Martin Chocholatý made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fanis Kostarakis in the 24th minute. Zinon Galanos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Chocholatý read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. Martin Chocholatý stood somewhat misplaced when Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris came free in front of goal and shot 6-0 to the left of him in the 48 minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 57th match minute, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ahmet Ali Poyraz to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kleon Liaskovitis in the 59th minute of play forced FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's goalkeeper Martin Chocholatý to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Chocholatý came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Greece's Zinon Galanos. But to his dismay, Zinon Galanos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Martin Chocholatý stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris's shot from short distance in the 62nd minute. Martin Chocholatý showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. The Greece fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when Greece's Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 10-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match clock showed 75 minutes, the score became 11-0 when Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris sped through FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Chocholatý. 78 minutes into the match, FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's goal looked a bit too open when Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris came free, but Martin Chocholatý reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 79th minute Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Chocholatý saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 81st minute, Fanis Kostarakis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Chocholatý was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martin Chocholatý saved FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO from getting behind. After 90 played minutes Greece got a freekick which was hit by Anastasios Stathoulias. Martin Chocholatý showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zinon Galanos in the 92nd minute of the match. Martin Chocholatý stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. In the 97thth minute of the game Chatziantoniou Vakoufaris who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC INTERNAZIONALE MILANO's Martin Chocholatý was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Greece walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
