Fc Benefica's attentive Ture Asklöv managed to snatch the ball when Albino Mikelar made a throw-in in the 4th minute of the game. Meta Tirosh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 13th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Villa Lourdes FC got a freekick which was hit by Bhadrayu Sethi. In the 29thth minute of the game Leandro Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Lourdes FC's Meta Tirosh was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 33 minutes of play, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Meta Tirosh was left in no man's land by his defense there! 42 minutes into the game, Blas Oihenarte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villa Lourdes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fc Benefica the free kick. 46 minutes into the match, Fc Benefica's Leandro Soares sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Meta Tirosh narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leandro Soares to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Fc Benefica defense, Everardo Honrio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mitchel Dijkstra. The Fc Benefica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mitchel Dijkstra should have stopped the shot. Mitchel Dijkstra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Honrio in the 55th minute of the match. Meta Tirosh made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leandro Soares in the 62nd minute of play. Leandro Soares struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Meta Tirosh didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Benefica. Mitchel Dijkstra came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Lourdes FC's Mauro Walme. But to his dismay, Mauro Walme quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 70th minute, Everardo Honrio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mitchel Dijkstra was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Villa Lourdes FC's Dominic Pastor was substituted for Paulino Valiente. Fc Benefica made a substitution. Hugo Andriessen replaced Humberto Jonge. Villa Lourdes FC's Nicasio Erauso was substituted for Albino Mikelar. A collision led to Fc Benefica getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Damien Bakker hit a great ball. The supporters of Fc Benefica booed when Villa Lourdes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bhadrayu Sethi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Nicanor Lluterio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villa Lourdes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1.

Villa Lourdes FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
