The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Miguel De Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulrik Hallgren in the 4th minute. Rogério Tenória blasted a shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonny Hellkvist having to make a save. After having played for 10 minutes, Stig-Ove Dahlman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Runmarö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stig-Ove Dahlman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Stig-Ove Dahlman came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Runmarö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig-Ove Dahlman couldn't finish the play. Miguel De Matos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ulrik Hallgren in the 17th minute. When Stig-Ove Dahlman came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Runmarö fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stig-Ove Dahlman couldn't finish the play. Greger Östman kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Runmarö got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Berglund. In the 23rd minute of the match Rogério De Matos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonny Hellkvist showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Miguel De Matos came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Runmarö's Ulrik Hallgren. But to his dismay, Ulrik Hallgren quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rogério Tenória received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Jonny Hellkvist tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Stig-Ove Dahlman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel De Matos having to interfere. Ashton Under Hill's Miguel De Matos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save Ashton Under Hill from getting a goal against them. Miguel Jacinto's late challenge caught a Runmarö's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Miguel Jacinto helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ashton Under Hill getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Miguel Jacinto hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Ulrik Hallgren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ulrik Hallgren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Miguel De Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lopo Borges sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Eduardo Guedes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 63 played minutes Runmarö got a freekick which was hit by Thor Palm. Miguel De Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stig-Ove Dahlman in the 65th minute of the match. Thor Palm kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. During the 77th minute of the match Miguel Jacinto completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Miguel Jacinto a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Miguel Jacinto kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Stig-Ove Dahlman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Ulrik Hallgren managed to get in a good position for a shot. Runmarö's supporters rose to their feet, but Ulrik Hallgren was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miguel De Matos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 91 minutes into the game, Rogério Tenória recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonny Hellkvist. Rogério Tenória showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Runmarö fans cheered their team off the field, for while Ashton Under Hill had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
