After 15 minutes, Damaso Avila mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sant Pere Del Bosc and the Ashton Under Hill players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Sant Pere Del Bosc getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Damaso Avila hit a great ball. If Damaso Avila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. Miguel De Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Presebal Sánchez, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ashton Under Hill's Lopo Borges slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Norino Rossello. That made the score 1-3 after 40 minutes of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lopo Borges stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel De Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nesto Palomar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Ashton Under Hill booed when Sant Pere Del Bosc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xesus Vera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Norino Rossello made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lopo Borges in the 64th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Lopo Borges notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Sant Pere Del Bosc's Norino Rossello. Norino Rossello was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Ashton Under Hill booed when Sant Pere Del Bosc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rey Vagrande didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lopo Borges in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Norino Rossello prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ashton Under Hill's defense didn't have a chance, in the 95th minute, when Nesto Palomar scored to the left of an out of position Miguel De Matos, making the score, 2-4. The Sant Pere Del Bosc supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sant Pere Del Bosc would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
