István Mester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matej Tásler in the 7th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sporting SCP's Renátó Bogdán got a free kick in the 7th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting SCP's zone, Fabrizio Scibilia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. István Mester came out of the goal and Fabrizio Scibilia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the match, Sporting SCP's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Veríssimo came free, but István Mester reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Fabrizio Scibilia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Matej Tásler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 21 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's Fabrizio Scibilia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that István Mester narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Matej Tásler was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 75th minute. TRABZONSPOR's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 83 played minutes TRABZONSPOR got a freekick which was hit by Yaşar Vefai. Alfréd Gellért kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting SCP's zone, Matias Veríssimo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. István Mester came out of the goal and Matias Veríssimo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. István Mester showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matej Tásler, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 96th minute Matej Tásler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but István Mester saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Matej Tásler notched a goal, 0-8, to the right of Sporting SCP's István Mester. István Mester was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
