The supporters of chelse FC booed when FC Freki was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyril Just didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute Magdaleno Logroño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Didier Bonnefoy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anatole Cerutti was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 11 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of FC Freki:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of chelse FC:s goal. Estevam Villaelrriego shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Didier Bonnefoy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ascencio Lasalde went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 22 minutes into the game, chelse FC's Ascencio Lasalde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Didier Bonnefoy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Didier Bonnefoy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Garin, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. In the 35th minute, Harry Dubouchet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 37th minute of the match chelse FC got a corner. FC Freki's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Estevam Villaelrriego ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 39th minute, Magdaleno Logroño made a precise shot to the right of Didier Bonnefoy. FC Freki's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 42nd minute, Ascencio Lasalde ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Didier Bonnefoy was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonadona Bandera during the 48th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bonadona Bandera hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. After the first half chelse FC were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donald Colombier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Magdaleno Logroño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Didier Bonnefoy having to interfere. FC Freki's Didier Bonnefoy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save FC Freki from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Goizeder Llago reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Didier Bonnefoy. The goal made the score 0-6. After 64 minutes of play, chelse FC's Ascencio Lasalde made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Didier Bonnefoy was left in no man's land by his defense there! Didier Bonnefoy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Garin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, chelse FC's Didier Bonnefoy threw himself towards the right post 70 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Evaristo Garin, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Estevam Villaelrriego struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Didier Bonnefoy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for chelse FC. Didier Bonnefoy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Garin in the 80th minute of the match. 84 minutes into the match, FC Freki's goalkeeper Didier Bonnefoy had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Magdaleno Logroño. In the 87th minute, Bonadona Bandera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Didier Bonnefoy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Magdaleno Logroño in the 90th minute. When Gurutz Trexo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. The supporters of FC Freki booed when chelse FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gurutz Trexo didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, FC Freki's Didier Bonnefoy got control of the ball when Bonadona Carrios tried to sneak it across the goal line. chelse FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
