Cemalettin Sabih kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Gökalp Oğurata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szczepan Kalemba in the 6th minute of the match. Dobromir Nakonieczny made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matej Tásler in the 10th minute of play. 16 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's Fabrizio Scibilia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dobromir Nakonieczny narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Łódzki klub sportowy booed when TRABZONSPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Menderes Özil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leon Poteralski charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Poteralski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 minutes, Cyprian Lisewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Łódzki klub sportowy and the TRABZONSPOR players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute of the match, Leon Poteralski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gökalp Oğurata saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Matej Tásler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Nakonieczny having to interfere. Gökalp Oğurata was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Szczepan Kalemba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Szczepan Kalemba really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Menderes Özil lost his temper 36 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Gökalp Oğurata had in the 38thth minute some difficulties stopping Cyprian Lisewski's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 46th minute Matias Veríssimo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dobromir Nakonieczny saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jerzy Czysta came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the TRABZONSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerzy Czysta couldn't finish the play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Szczepan Kalemba made the kick off in the second half. Matias Veríssimo kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Gökalp Oğurata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Przemyslaw Pankowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. TRABZONSPOR's Gökalp Oğurata played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Szczepan Kalemba in the 53rd minute of play. Matias Veríssimo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Przemyslaw Pankowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gökalp Oğurata. TRABZONSPOR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Przemyslaw Pankowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After 61 minutes of play, Łódzki klub sportowy's Przemyslaw Pankowski made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gökalp Oğurata was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 63rd minute, Waldemar Gierlach hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the game, Josué Ferrão was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. TRABZONSPOR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Łódzki klub sportowy the free kick. After a rather tough play, TRABZONSPOR's Josué Ferrão got a free kick in the 65th minute. When Matej Tásler came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the TRABZONSPOR fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matej Tásler couldn't finish the play. Matias Veríssimo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Dobromir Nakonieczny made a huge save. If Matej Tásler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Leon Poteralski came free, but Gökalp Oğurata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dobromir Nakonieczny took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matej Tásler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerzy Czysta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gökalp Oğurata didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Szczepan Kalemba went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Matej Tásler fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dobromir Nakonieczny having to interfere. A collision led to TRABZONSPOR getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ahmet Turan Taşer hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the match, TRABZONSPOR's goal looked a bit too open when Cyprian Lisewski came free, but Gökalp Oğurata reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, Łódzki klub sportowy could leave the field as winners, despite TRABZONSPOR having more of the ball for most of the match.
