In the 2nd match minute, Ashton Under Hill was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogério Lourenço to maneuver through the defense. Ashton Under Hill's Miguel De Matos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gökalp Oğurata in the 11th minute of play. In the 12th minute of the match TRABZONSPOR got a corner. Ashton Under Hill's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jerzy Czysta ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rogério Tenória charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ashton Under Hill's goalkeeper Miguel De Matos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the game, Fabrizio Scibilia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Miguel De Matos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Miguel De Matos came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by TRABZONSPOR's Matej Tásler. But to his dismay, Matej Tásler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Miguel De Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matej Tásler in the 38th minute of the match. Altay Özal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Jacinto in the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute, Quim De Matos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Miguel De Matos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerzy Czysta in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lopo Borges made a kick off. With an all-out effort, TRABZONSPOR's Miguel De Matos threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Matej Tásler, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 58th minute Matej Tásler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel De Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute Ailton Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Altay Özal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Altay Özal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Jacinto in the 61st minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 66th minute by Fabrizio Scibilia got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Jerzy Czysta hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Jerzy Czysta scored 2-6 in the 73rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miguel De Matos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The TRABZONSPOR fans' excitement grew in the 77th match minute when TRABZONSPOR's Jerzy Czysta looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-7 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Fabrizio Scibilia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Ali Hamza Ülmen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TRABZONSPOR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Hamza Ülmen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Miguel De Matos was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Jerzy Czysta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jerzy Czysta really showed his touch with that goal: 2-8. If Fabrizio Scibilia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded TRABZONSPOR left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ashton Under Hill.
