The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Roch Mazierski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Karaszkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Roch Mazierski in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jerzy Karaszkiewicz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI's Jerzy Karaszkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roch Mazierski in the 9th minute of play. Wincent Cielencki made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Christos Kanakis sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute Ace Ventura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Karaszkiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ace Ventura in the 24th minute of the match. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hong Yi Jian's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Ace Ventura's late challenge caught a DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With an all-out effort, DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI's Wincent Cielencki threw himself towards the right post 35 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wieslaw Solecki, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 41st minute, Hong Yi Jian ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 44 played minutes DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI got a freekick which was hit by John Seabourne. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Christos Kanakis made the kick off in the second half. If Hong Yi Jian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilliam den Pelsmaeker in the 65th minute of play forced Wy-pas's goalkeeper Wincent Cielencki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Seabourne hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ace Ventura in the 70th minute of the match.
