EL Ciulos Lamos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximilian Stålman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. INTER Sosnowiec's Eugeniusz Kociniewski was substituted for Traian Băsescu. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

EL Ciulos Lamos's Tomé Soveral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maximilian Stålman in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of INTER Sosnowiec booed when EL Ciulos Lamos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cyprian Furlit didn't get a good kick on the ball.
