After 13 minutes DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Rene Kreiser who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on INTER Sosnowiec's corner Bror Nordstedt fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Jerzy Karaszkiewicz quite easily take care of the ball. DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI's Jerzy Karaszkiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bror Nordstedt in the 14th minute of play. With a little luck, INTER Sosnowiec's Patryk Olejarz got control of the ball when Teodoro Gamus tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 21st minute, Ethan Mbappè ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jerzy Karaszkiewicz was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. INTER Sosnowiec's Eugeniusz Kociniewski was substituted for Traian Băsescu. After the first half INTER Sosnowiec were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Christos Kanakis was the one to do the kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 93 minutes of play, DRUŻYNA ŚRODKA TABELI's Arnold Cockaerts made it 5-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Patryk Olejarz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Teofil Pustak took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Patryk Olejarz. Patryk Olejarz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-3. INTER Sosnowiec's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
