Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Saudi Arabia's Taqi Taqi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zaher Baroun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Vialli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Taqi Taqi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Saudi Arabia's Rashed Al Hadhod in the 15th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Loco De la Maza was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Falckner FC through an amazing save. A collision led to Falckner FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Marco Bilbo hit a great ball. Marco Bilbo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Zaher Baroun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Vialli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zaher Baroun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gianluca Vialli in the 33rd minute of the match. After 36 played minutes Saudi Arabia got a freekick which was hit by Edrees Al Youha. Gianluca Vialli took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zaher Baroun. Zaher Baroun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Rashed Al Hadhod might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Loco De la Maza. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rashed Al Hadhod ran back to his position shaking his head.

The wind increased when Gianluca Vialli made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Taqi Taqi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saudi Arabia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taqi Taqi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Saudi Arabia getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Rashed Al Hadhod hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Gianluca Vialli took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Zaher Baroun to make any attempt to save it. Saudi Arabia's Zaher Baroun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Saudi Arabia from getting a goal against them. Gianluca Vialli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 68 minutes into the match, Saudi Arabia's goalkeeper Zaher Baroun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gianluca Vialli. If Rashed Al Hadhod had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Saudi Arabia made a substitution. Rajab Al Sohali replaced Rashed Al Hadhod. After a rather tough play, Saudi Arabia's Omar Al Asuosi got a free kick in the 77th minute. In the 79th match minute, Saudi Arabia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rajab Al Sohali to maneuver through the defense. If Gianluca Vialli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Saudi Arabia's Zaher Baroun got control of the ball when Gianluca Vialli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gianluca Vialli might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zaher Baroun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gianluca Vialli ran back to his position shaking his head. Gianluca Vialli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Zaher Baroun made a huge save. Gianluca Vialli might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zaher Baroun. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gianluca Vialli ran back to his position shaking his head. Zaher Baroun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Vialli, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Zaher Baroun was a little too slow when Gianluca Vialli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 94th minute. The score was now 1-4. Falckner FC's Alberto Edorta was substituted for Gianluca Vialli. The Saudi Arabia manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Falckner FC to win.
