Jonas Wästerberg made a great header on SK Fenerbahce Wien's corner, it was just that Stal Sanok's Sune Rudberg managed to reach the ball for a save. After 26 played minutes Stal Sanok got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Nicuşor. Sune Rudberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nereo Rik in the 27th minute of the match. Sune Rudberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nereo Rik in the 31st minute of play. Stal Sanok's Sune Rudberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Wästerberg in the 33rd minute of play. SK Fenerbahce Wien's supporters rose to their feet, but Brecht Govaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. When Jonas Wästerberg fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SK Fenerbahce Wien's protests and gave Jonas Wästerberg a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 played minutes SK Fenerbahce Wien got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Wästerberg. 53 minutes into the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Ari Hakanpää came free, but Chris Draxl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 57 minutes had been played when some careless play by Stal Sanok's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonas Wästerberg was slow to take the kick. During this time SK Fenerbahce Wien's players had a chance to rest.
