Dumitru Cinteză didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Bucur went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Anfilogino Amicone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Trică, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 28 minutes into the match, WonderKids tEam's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Bucur came free, but Dumitru Cinteză reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gigel Bucur stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gigel Bucur showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-7. The Toronto Marlies FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Toronto Marlies FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
