Marian Munteanu hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. 12 minutes into the game, 钱正凌 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Santiago Cañizares. 钱正凌 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Santiago Cañizares made an important save on a dangerous shot by 钱正凌 in the 16th minute. Anthon Billing showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrik Konsel, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Patrik Konsel notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of STARGARD FC's Anthon Billing. Anthon Billing was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of STARGARD FC booed when Nueva Chicago was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mattias Van Elsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Cañizares made an important save on a dangerous shot by 钱正凌 in the 35th minute. STARGARD FC's Anthon Billing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patrik Konsel in the 37th minute of play. 37 minutes into the game, Patrik Konsel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Anthon Billing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Patrik Konsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, 钱正凌 made a precise shot to the right of Santiago Cañizares. Nueva Chicago's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Saul Phelipe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes Nueva Chicago's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marian Munteanu who took care of the corner kick. The corner led STARGARD FC's Marian Munteanu to fire away a dangerous shot which Santiago Cañizares despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 54th minute, Patrik Konsel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Anthon Billing, passed just outside the right post. Anthon Billing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 郑誉真 in the 63rd minute of play. 64 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Phelipe came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. STARGARD FC were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Nueva Chicago's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Marian Munteanu took the corner. 钱正凌 was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Santiago Cañizares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 钱正凌, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrei Agulescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Anthon Billing made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Andrei Agulescu got free with Anthon Billing in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Phelipe in the 78th minute of play forced Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santiago Cañizares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Bolin in the 82nd minute of the match. Xalvador Pendones might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anthon Billing. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. For all the effort they put into the match, the Nueva Chicago players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for STARGARD FC.
