Dumitru Cinteză tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ionuț Trică came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the WonderKids tEam fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ionuț Trică couldn't finish the play. Dumitru Cinteză made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Candido Urbes in the 23rd minute of play. In the 25th minute Kurt Brogren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dumitru Cinteză saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mellbystrand IK's Daniel Alrot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Idacio in the 29th minute of play. Carmelo Idacio's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Daniel Alrot skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dumitru Cinteză prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Daniel Alrot was a little too slow when Andrea Scarpa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

WonderKids tEam's Dumitru Cinteză proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save WonderKids tEam from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the game, Eulalio Berenguer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Mellbystrand IK's Vinícius I quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dumitru Cinteză showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Brogren in the 59th minute of the match. Daniel Alrot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionuț Trică went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Björn Ekström who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 85thth minute tested the skills of Dumitru Cinteză when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 86 minutes had been played when some careless play by WonderKids tEam's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Konrad Nordin was slow to take the kick. During this time Mellbystrand IK's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Björn Ekström managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 88th minute, Eulalio Berenguer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Andrea Scarpa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mellbystrand IK's Kurt Brogren got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dumitru Cinteză stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kurt Brogren's shot from short distance in the 97th minute.
