Bocho Bumbalov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nereo Rik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 7 minutes into the match, SK Fenerbahce Wien's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Mota came free, but Chris Draxl reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute Nereo Rik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bocho Bumbalov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 13 played minutes SK Fenerbahce Wien got a freekick which was hit by Tedj Yahia. SK Fenerbahce Wien's Chris Draxl played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Brataniec in the 14th minute of play. In the 29thth minute of the game Tostão Mota who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SK Fenerbahce Wien's Chris Draxl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Janusze got a corner. SK Fenerbahce Wien's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Radomir Wydrych ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Janusze's corner Radomir Wydrych fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chris Draxl quite easily take care of the ball. György Hubina hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Janusze's György Hubina got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bocho Bumbalov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Rik, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Janusze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tostão Mota to maneuver through the defense. Wincenty Sokolski replaced Wieslaw Kempski. In the 81st minute of the game Barnaba Trzenzalski made a throw-in which Sizwe Phakathi played forward. Chris Draxl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Serwacki in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to SK Fenerbahce Wien getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Janusze reached it. György Hubina took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chris Draxl. Chris Draxl dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Janusze lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
