But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Napoleon Kolbert couldn't finish the play. Ambrosio Aragones might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franciszek Lerych. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ambrosio Aragones ran back to his position shaking his head. Franciszek Lerych showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Aragones, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teofil Fudalej got free with Stefan Zdanowicz in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Aragones to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witomir Gajewski in the 60th minute of play forced FC JaRo Team's goalkeeper Stefan Zdanowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute Witomir Gajewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Zdanowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC JaRo Team's Remond Reintjes got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. FC Dwa Do Ósmej made a substitution. After taking down the ball on FC JaRo Team's corner Ludomil Barycz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franciszek Lerych quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC JaRo Team's zone, Witomir Gajewski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stefan Zdanowicz came out of the goal and Witomir Gajewski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 88th minute Bartlomiej Matela shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Zdanowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stefan Zdanowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bartlomiej Matela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bartlomiej Matela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Stefan Zdanowicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
